Chidinma Okonkwo

Chidinma and her family moved to this country from Nigeria just six years ago. They shifted from a middle class and highly dependent society to a low­income and very independent society. Her mother works in a low­paying nursing job and is the breadwinner of a family of nine. Chidinma is currently volunteering in JusticeCorps, and provides information to self­represented litigants, who have cases pending in court but do not have lawyers to help represent them.
