Angela Webb-­Pigg

Angela is an ebullient, self­assured, poised young woman who has overcome obstacles in her background that did not motivate her to seek higher education. She said that once she began studying theater her world was transformed. She went from being on progress dismissal for poor academic standing to being on the Dean’s List for five consecutive semesters. Her ultimate goal is to create a space for artists and activists to perform works within the community that directly affect that community. “Art is one form of expression that seems to be so translucent that it is understood no matter what your culture or background.”
