Eileen Lim

Eileen is the first generation in her family to go to college. Her family owns a small donut shop in Moorpark, California. Throughout her childhood, her parents had to go to work at 4:00 in the morning, and she accompanied them because they couldn’t afford a babysitter. She says, “My parents have worked hard to support me while in school and doing what they can to ensure that I have the opportunities they didn’t to pursue my goals in life.”
