Jeff Ho

Raised by parents who emigrated from Vietnam, Jeff is the first generation college student in his family. While attending community college and volunteering in a local hospital, he had a career-defining experience when he overheard a Vietnamese woman trying to communicate with her husband’s doctor. Struck by their frustration and the potential harm of the language barrier, he intervened, relaying her concerns to the doctor and his to her. Today he is studying Spanish on his way to accomplishing his career goal of becoming a trilingual clinical pharmacist who works in conjunction with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
